Being Uninteresting

There are writers, authors, books, movies that we revisit when we need inspiration or some reassurance that things will be alright, that we are not alone.

It’s one of those days for me, and one of my favorite sources of philosophical insights is Calvin and Hobbes.     I was sad when the comic ended, but I admired Bill Watterson for his artistic integrity and for “knowing” when to end things.

There’s a lot to admire about him, and his Commencement Speech at Kenyon College from 1990 is worth reading.

* I don’t have anything insightful today, so I thought I’d focus on someone more interesting.
